No actions are required on your side in order the changes to enter into force. For clients having active agreements as of 03.07.2023, the changes will enter into force automatically 2-months after the date of this notification - on the 3rd September 2023.

If you do not want to accept these changes, you have the right to terminate the GiftCard Legal Agreement and redeem your card balance by contacting us at support@giftcards.eu .

As per the last updates, at front offices of the Issuer or of the Issuer's Representative, the customer must confirm his agreement with GTC by signing a new document - Written confirmation of acceptance.

As per the last updates, the period for delivery of virtual GiftCards to the end-recipients cannot be extended with additional three months. We have introduced additional condition for definition of the period, after the expiry of which your virtual GiftCard will be charged with the Service Fee in accordance with the Tariff.

We would like to inform you that we have made updates in the GiftCard General Terms and Conditions and its Tariff.

The use of your GiftCard will be for a maximum duration of 2 years in which time you will be able to spend your money. After this period expires your GiftCard Service will be terminated.

We also introduce new manner of calculating the Service fee after the first year of using GiftCard Service.

Dear clients,

We have introduced changes in the General Terms & Conditions connected with our new service – 3ds. The new General Terms & Conditions will be in force from 01-08-2020.

What is 3D Secure?

This service, also known as Visa Secure and MasterCard SecureCode, is an international payment authentication standard for internet purchases only that further reduces the possibility of unauthorized payments. It’s available only on websites supporting 3D Secure.

How does it work?

When paying through a 3D Secure enabled website, and before the transaction is finalized, from now on you will be redirected to a Mastercard SecureCode or Visa Secure page. You will then be prompted to confirm the payment by entering a one-time passcode sent to your mobile phone via SMS*.

Your GiftCard online cards’ payments** will be automatically entitled to 3D Secure check on 1st of August 2020.
