GiftCard is a prepaid, non-rechargeable gift card that can be used for shopping in over 190 countries worldwide. Each card can be funded one-time with a custom amount upon purchase and can be used for multiple payments until its balance is depleted or the 2-year contract expires (in case it has not been terminated earlier), whichever event occurs first.

GiftCard has two versions: a physical and a virtual card, each with its unique advantages. Learn more about the differences between the two here.

The physical GiftCard is meant for shopping in stores or online, just as all other payment cards, while the the virtual GiftCard is designed predominantly for online shopping. However, both cards can be added to Google Pay ^TM or Apple Pay for quick and convenient mobile payments.

Payments with the physical GiftCard are protected by a PIN, while the transactions with the virtual GiftCard require a 3D Secure code – an additional security step for online payments.

Before making a purchase, we recommend checking your card's balance. When you are ready, hold the card close to the POS terminal. Once the transaction is successfully approved, the total purchase amount will be automatically deducted from your GiftCard balance.

When you make an in-store payment at a POS terminal, you can combine your physical GiftCard with another payment method if the merchant allows it. For example, you can pay part of the total amount with your physical GiftCard and the rest – in cash or with another card.

Since GiftCard is a prepaid card, please note that it cannot be used for receiving winnings from betting operators, as well as for subscription or offline payments.

In contrast to conventional gift cards, which confine the recipient to a specific retailer brand or online store, GiftCard offers complete freedom of choice. The prepaid card can be used anywhere in more than 190 countries in the world, and the balance can be spent either all at once or in multiple smaller purchases. In addition, GiftCard can be personalized with your photo and design, making it more special than conventional gift vouchers and much more personal than the alternative – cash in an envelope.

The main difference between the two is that the virtual card does not exist in physical form and can only be sent to the recipient via email.

Both the physical and the virtual GiftCard possess all the distinguishing attributes of a payment card – a magnetic strip, a chip, a 16-digit number, CVC, a logo of the card scheme, an expiration date, and a PIN.

The physical GiftCard can be used both for in-store and online purchases, while the virtual GiftCard is designed primarily for online purchases, but you can add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay, so you can pay in stores with your mobile device.
