Both types of GiftCard have their advantage, and your choice depends on the occasion and the time you have at your disposal. 

In its physical form, GiftCard is a wonderful choice when you want to present your gift in person. You can create a card with a unique design and a personal message, allowing the recipient to hold on to it as a memento. In addition, the physical card will enable the recipient to shop both online and in-store in more than 190 countries worldwide.

The virtual GiftCard is sent by email, making it a gift suitable for great distances and when you don't have enough time for the production and delivery of a physical GiftCard. Sending a virtual card takes just a few seconds, and it can be used by the recipient immediately after activation. This version of GiftCard is also more eco-friendly – it doesn't use any plastic or packaging, resulting in a lower issuance fee.

Please keep in mind that GiftCard's production time (for physical and virtual cards) takes 24 hours (during work days) and starts after the payment for the order is received and the client verification process by the Issuer is completed.

GiftCard can be issued in BGN, EUR, or RON. The buyer determines the card's currency and denomination during the online purchase.

If you visit one of GiftCard’s sales centers in Bulgaria, you can only purchase a card in BGN.

The contract for GiftCard is valid for 2 years or until the card's balance is depleted, whichever event occurs first. Once the contract expires, the service is terminated, and the cardholder can no longer make transactions with the card, even if its validity has not yet expired. If there is money remaining on the card after the contract has expired or been terminated, the e-money redemption rules will be applied.

You can choose from dozens of designs from our catalogue, including seasonal and holiday-themed visuals, and you can also create your own using one of your photos.

You can take advantage of GiftCard's personalisation feature when making an online purchase on GiftCard's website - giftcards.eu. You can create a unique design by uploading your photo. You can also add a message on the card and, if you've chosen a physical GiftCard, on the packaging as well.

Alternatively, you can choose one of a dozen pre-made designs in our gallery, which you also have the option to personalize with a message.

If you are in Bulgaria and wish to make a purchase from one of GiftCard's sales centers, please note that you can only buy a pre-made design from our catalogue without the option for personalization.
